Hi Phil, I don't suppose you have the full race coverage from Outlon Park or Castle Combe for 2000 do you ?
I only ever competed in those 2 weekends, and would love to see the TV coverage of them.

But seriously how I have longed to drive one of those Tuscans ever since seeing the one my Dad had!!! =( Ive seen the converted road one with the hard top! God I had that idea years ago! lol! I even designed it.. ive got the draughts somewhere! haha!

Plus, I've always enjoyed "Don't Fear the Reaper" so it wasn't a hideous distraction like some music overdubs :tup:.
I look forward to seeing some of your 'in-car' stuff make the transition from tape to net one day :D.

Ah! It was nice to watch the racing regardless - one of the disadvantages of going to races in the flesh is that you only get to see the action from one place. TV coverage is less fun than being there but you do get to see things you'd've missed otherwise.

This brought back fond memories for me as my Dad was part of team CDL, and i went to nearly every race that year!

If it helps, it's "Don't Fear the Reaper" by Blue Oyster Cult. However, great a song as it is, I have to say I'd rather hear the cars :D.

I agree but the footage is compiled from 7 separate rounds of the 2000 Challenge and had commentary over the engine sound (which wasn't that well recorded anyway). I've got some in-car recordings on VHS tapes kicking about I'll get on YouTube some day. :D

Hahah you got over taken by Giles hehe! =P Giles normally crashes anyway! lol you probably got the place back.. Anyway if you have any full length races is it possible to post it?? Would be nice to see the cars again! =) Cheers...

LOL, actually I DID get the place back at the left-hand hairpin. He got me back somewhere else later though! Lurking somewhere I do have a couple of full length races but they're from my rookie year so you'll get a view of more cars coming past me than me passing them! ;+)
