Y2K 2009 International Live Looping Festival - performance highlights from Saturday, October 17th

Each @3rd weekend in October musicians from all over the planet gather in Santa Cruz, CA, in celebration of the Y2K International Live Looping Festival. The experimental music 6 day event now in it's 8th year was founded and ongoingly curated/nurtured by World percussionist/drummer/multi-instrumentalist, looping artist and teacher Rick Walker. This was my 3rd year to take part in Y2K and the day I was there, October 17th, I shot a number of the artists performing and put together this highlights video. My apologies to a few artists not included. I arrived to the event after it started and missed a few of the opening performers as well as near my own set was involved in prep so I managed to document two artists before me but got everyone after me.
