Kerchoonz is in beta. We only first opened the site in beta on October 29th last year. So, we have ONLY been in beta for one year (which isn't very long for building an entire project, as you might know about beta).

We can see exactly who has downloaded your songs. First of all, to download a song on kerchoonz, you have to be signed-up and logged-in to the site and have a profile page in order to download from Kerchoonz. Unfortunately, it violates our terms and conditions if you repeatedly download your own music.

Even worst! I got over 249 downloads and I didnt get paid! Kerchoonz excuse was too many of my songs where downloaded from the same ip address! Thats Bullshit! Thats just an excuse for them not to pay! I dont even see how it would even be possible to pay millions of artist from ad money,, Kerchoonz would have to have millions od advertisers for that to work! I dont see that happening!

My fans from kerchoonz downloaded my songs I have not received any payment for 249 downloads. Whats going on? Is Kerchoonz Legit?

it is 10cents per free download, but musicians can also opt not to give free downloads and they are also planning to have it so that musicians can even choose the amount to sell their music for. It is 1 us cent per listen which is much more than myspace or other sites pay (since they pay nothing for streams, this is a good deal!!!)

Considering most sites don't pay musicians AT ALL when their music is streamed, 1 cent is GREAT!!!!! You get nothing from myspace! But, the cool thing about kerchoonz is that it also will be letting musicians sell their music on it and also set the price if they wish. But, also when they decide to give it away for free they get paid. Which is really good. They are also starting a shop where artists can sell their physical cd's and also their merch. So, that is very cool! I'm excited

Kerchoonz pays artists for every play of their songs. Kerchoonz is also launching a download store for each artist AND also a shop for them to sell their physical albums and merchandise as well. Plus, Kerchoonz gives artists tools like K-widgets and promotion through kerchoonz live. On top of it, bands get paid when they refer other bands (it's not any type of 'pyramid', it's just a way of saying thanks for telling people!)
