Award winning Horse + Bamboo Theatre presents a new family production Little Leap Forward. Set in the summer of 1966 as Mao Zedongs Cultural Revolution intensifies, Little Leap Forward is the true story of Guo Yues childhood in Beijing with his mother and sisters.
Its a story about family, friendships and creative expression, but above all about the need for freedom. Horse + Bamboos artistry combines music, masks, puppetry and animation to tell this compelling story.
For ages 8+.
