yes, he's black. he was black when he was elected to the senate, when he announced his candidacy, and for the last 20 months of his campaign. It seems like since he won the election that's all the media is talking about. Is that really news ? four months from now is every story going to start with "Barack Obama, America's first black president, visited the UK today" or will it just say "Obama went to the UK". at what point is it no longer news that he's black ?

I feel sorry for all of you who are non execpeting of an African American president. I am apalled by the ignorant responses that I see posted on here. America is the land of the free and the hone of the brave, everyone has the ability to become anything they want to be. Although, you may not like the president, he is the president, and you need to start accepting it. Thats why columbine, the war, and V -Tech shooting happened...peoples inability to accept others..Grow up and get a damn life.
