I think it's kinda silly that society defines our gender by the one part of our anatomy that we keep hidden. I mean really, how many people do we actually share that part of our bodies with? If I am 95% female, and female is how I present, and female is how strangers on the street percieve me, then why am I letting that 5% dictate who I am :-)

I believe that "Gender" is the spirit of the person. Not everything these folks say is so clearly defined. Basically in round about way..lol I agree with you.

@danceswithbagels Your right. I think one of the reasons that conservatives and religious extremists have so much trouble with us, is because we don't fit into their narrow binary world view. They want everything "neat and tidy", but the world is infinitely more complicated. It shatters the foundation of their belief system.
