Because its a European car made for the European/UK market, with a European in charge mate. Made in Germany, Swedish engine and English LSD.
As far as I'm aware USA doesn't have ralleys just those silly nascar and indianappolis where you got round and round in a dull circle. RS brand is a wealth of history from the cosworths and before, biggest market is UK.
