Overview:

Matt Hobby works for the National Centre for Atmospheric Science. His role is to design and develop instrumentation and to build prototypes. During his work he uses the data supplied by GPS (Global Positioning Satellites) signals to pin-point locations in 3-dimensional space. The mathematics involves speed-distance-time equations, plotting loci, ICT modelling, and calculation.
