This is a very unusual clip. Ms Taylor in one of her, if not her only singing spot in the movies. This clip is from the 1948 movie "A Date With Judy."

  • When Dame Elizabeth Taylor stands next to any other actress you never see the other actress! She remains one (if not the) most beautiful face that ever graced the silver screen. On top of this, a magnificent body that was her own and not a plastic surgeon's! Dear Elizabeth Taylor you are in my prayers as well as your family. God Bless you!!

  • @fairgirl7 I agree with SoCal about Ingrid being beautiful. Ever see Casablanca? Those close ups...My god! Of course Elizabeth was beautiful too.

  • Jane! :')

  • @SoCalGal52 Ingrid Bergman beautiful??? Are you kidding me? She was the big healthy strapping farm girl who was never in the league of Elizabeth Taylor. Vivien Leigh, Jean Simmons, Elizabeth Taylor; these were the great beauties!! Garbo WAS beautiful in a totally different way. Her body and mannerisms were masculine ; totally different from Taylor. Dame Taylor was born in Great Britain; she was a subject of the Queen. She raised millions for AIDS; she deserved her title!

  • Liz was hot as hell!

  • @fairgirl7 Seriously? She was beautiful, no doubt, but there were way too many beautiful actresses from the past to claim Elizabeth as the most beautiful. She was at her prettiest between 1950-1960, after that, not so much. She had a good body too, and talent. But the prettiest? My God, Garbo and Bergman out do her big time. And the Dame thing? How does an American actress become a Dame? Yes, I know she was born there, but of American parents which made Liz an automatic US citizen. Not a Brit.
