It's actually Peter that sings this song to Wendy in the production - it just sounds like Wendy because in Peter Pan musicals Peter is traditionally played by a girl so he can hit the high notes. I'm Wendy in my school's production, and oh how I wish it truly was Wendy that sings this song! It's so beautiful and inspiring, I just wish It was me that got to sing it! :)
