A tribute to le démon blond, Guy Lafleur. An icon in Quebec and a legend in the history of the NHL. I hope you enjoy watching this, as much as I enjoyed making it.

  • Thanks for the comments everyone. Every kind word is appreciated and I hope to put up more great videos like this one for your viewing pleasure.

  • Hope to see more of Guy! Thanks for this - and hey - even your wife likes it!

Guy was always my favourite too, along with Rogie Vachon and Gump Worsley, so I'm dating myself with that....

  • My wife is a huge hockey fan too. Sometimes it seems like she's a bigger one then me.

  • There is nothing more beautiful than seeing Lafleur scoring a goal. Except maybe seeing Lafleur scoring a goal on the Bruins.

  • ACE! fractured mirror, ace rocks, and so do guy!

  • He was my idol for so many years when i was a kid. I remember 2 years ago seeing him in person at his restaurant in Berthierville...I was just looking at him right there a few feet from me......The legend was right in front of me. Thanks Guy for all the memories...and the Stanley Cups too!

  • The man knew how to put the biscuit in the basket. Many of his goals were scored when he shot the puck about 6 inches over the ice and just inside the post. I idolized him during my teenage years. Absolutely amazing talent; what a sniper...and a great passer too. He was the best player in the NHL from 1975 to 1979.
