My DIY install is posted at the EcoRenovator website, under 'Geothermal' topic,
as "Sanyo 24KHS72 AC/HP DIY install project".
DIY is not for everyone, but a handyman can learn a lot from watching vids and reading about installs on the web these days. A mini-split isn't too hard to install, but you should get a 'pro' in to do the final checks & to release the R401A.. To keep it safe and legal.
Once my house is cool, the Sanyo uses about 400w to maintain the temp. Perfect for solar power!
@Xringer u absolutly right bro.. i was thinking same that bubble leak test can b checked with only Nitrogen pressurized..not with Vacuum state....Good job by the way..

During the evacuation (at the 2 minute point), the installer is applying soap-bubble solution to the flares.
It should be noted that he has likely disconnected the vacuum pump and re-pressurized the lineset with nitrogen, to perform a second leak test.
Once the leak is fixed, then he will restart the vacuuming process.
