Ever since I was a kid I have loved and admired the Metamorphosis. It is an Illusion of Escape and one of the most popularly performed affects around the world. hands aint tied when u go in, give it away from the wave, the black curtain is a pathway out of the box enough time to lift u take control and she go in from the side

Nice guess! But, maybe you didn't really think hard enough! What black curtain...and remember it is surrounded, and the curtain is tight around the trunk! Also, my hands are chained! You try this smart-ass and see what you can do...but, keep guessing!

Their hands are not really tied though they appear to be. The cloth bag is not sewn shut at the bottom making it easy to get in and out of. The back panel of the crate can be opened and shut from the inside even though it is padlocked.

Sorry! Nice Try, which is why I do it surrounded, have a close curtain to the trunk,and have the bag, chain and box examined! Not to mention, YOU try it and see if it's as easy as you seem to think you know by guessing!

Most "in the know" will know the how, but nevertheless it must have taken you a long time practising to get that speed up!

@Slghtofhand I really do know HOW its done but will not reveal it on here as I'm actually gonna stick to the Magician's Code and NOT REVEAL the secrets, if you want me to tell you, just so you know that I truely DO know then I'll email you. But even though I know how its done I still love watching this 1 being performed. Its a great Illusion and I want to get the trunk and the curtain so I can start performing this. :o}

Did Houdini notmake it famous. Just ads to the standard magic plot, the sexy assistants go into the box, knwone cares if the male magician does.

Sorry for the late reply...but The version I do wasn't reveled on TV, Nice try for thinking that all illusions are created equal because you have watched a TV show! Just because you think you know or may know how something is done, doesn't make you any smarter. And knowing something doesn't mean you can do any better. Nice try though!

Well, then you haven't seen it very often! The Pendragons perform it the same way I do, and made it very famous. They were the most popular to perform it in the late 80s & 90s and made it a great illusion to watch!

This has to be the first time I've seen it done where the man is put into the box first. I think it looks better the other way round. People feel sorry for the female assistants who get bound and put in boxes
