Brush Arbor was a guest of Johnny Cash on his NBC TV Special in December 1973. Other guests on the show included Bill Monroe, Larry Gatlin, Tanya Tucker, the Statler Brothers, Tommy Cash, Mother Maybelle Carter and the Carter Family, Carl Perkins and the Tennessee Three.

  • I do have the Carter family (Mother Maybelle, June and Anita) performing on this video, along with the rest of the cast on the closing song "Daddy Sang Bass" and "Will the Circle be Unbroken." Maybe I'll post that clip soon.

  • After Gov. George Wallace became a Born Again Christian, Brush Arbor traveled with him during his Presidential campaign and sang this song. I saw them open for Gov. Wallace in 1976 at the Pomona Gospel Music Fair in California.
