wow smart, he who wants to steal the flame must die
they acctually told you how to steal it.
at first i thought that everyone needs to kill the one that is trying :/

What's that other sword about?
-
Re. "He who would steal the flame must die." It's a brilliant double entendre. It can be interpret as either "If you try to take the flame, you'll burn to death." or "To gain the power of the flame, you must die willingly." BOTH interpretations are correct.
And just as a refresher, the Shadow Man isn't and never was evil. He opposed you before because he thought *you* were trying to kill *him*. Once you correct this misunderstanding, he's glad to be your friend and ally.
haha thats the stage that i got stuck when i was like 10 yr old :D
btw u kinda suck at fighting xD

Totally intentional. The whole point is to die in front of the flame.

It's on the background of the screen at 5:32.

Something strange at 1:29. When I get that potion the little dwarf opens the door to the next level, which is exactly in the left of this screen...and here it isn´t. Maybe I have a different version? Weird...

I've owned the PC version since it's release, and played through the Mac version as well. The same on both of those. Maybe you're playing the SNES version? They changed a lot with that one, for the worse.
