Why do you say it is so random? The lyrics speak about taking things for granted, not being thoughtful, and being selfish. These themes are presented as parables, hence "goat never know the use of him tail/ til the butcher cut it off." We must be thankful for what we have because it can leave us so quickly. @Lebowski69 yea they have different cd's they play and the reggae cd was full of great songs like this one. they even played 400 years by bob marley & the wailers. i don't know about now though this was over 5 years ago.
