Mitt Romney and Mormonism Part 1

There are those who are saying that it does not matter what religion a person is running for President of the United States. If that is the case, lets disclose some of the beliefs of Mitt Romney. There are other candidates in which character and religion has been questioned. Why can we not look into the beliefs of Mitt? Why is there some in the media hell bent on cleaning up the image of the Mormon faith formally know as the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This is NOT a "hate" video. It is an honest discloser of the beliefs of a man running for President of the United States. If his faith is not an issue, then Mitt Romney supporters should have not problem with this video. There is nothing dishonest or shocking in this video. There are more videos on this subject to come.

jakey2cool, please do tell what you think is untrue about this video. I edited OUT a couple of things I knew were not true.I kept them out. I am very well informed on LDS beliefs. I am very careful not to distort anything because LDS use any distortion as a defense. This video is for educational purposes. I pray every mormon finds Christ and leaves their cult. I cannot sit by and let Mormonism be sold as a Christian like religion and have a Mormon President.

Mormon leaders condemn abuse of spouse or child in any form. They encourage families to spend time together and develop their relationships. Divorce among Mormons is much lower than the national average.

Just a little info for all of you out there. It seems to me that the maker of this video has his own agenda to pursue, but whatever that agenda is, informing people about the truth is obviously not his agenda.

"Mormon teachings are in direct opposition to Christian teachings" is not true at all. We(The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints)read the bible, we believe in the bible, the Book of Mormon supports the bible as another witness of Christ. We Believe in Christ as our Savior and worship him as Lord. He is the same Christ of the New Testament. The same Christ who is referred to in John 3:16. This is Christ gospel and His "Good News." We follow Christ's teachings and Love Him.

I've attended many church meetings, read the Book of Mormon, gone to LDS.org and Mormon.org. Never once have I heard such nonsense as this video describes. What is interesting is that most churches teach that Mormonism is a cult. I've never once heard the Mormons belittling others for their beliefs. Interesting? I'm liking them even more. Shame on you "Christians". Christ never taught such hatred. Remember the Good Samaritan? Careful what you condemn. Voting for Romney 2012.

The LDS church is not a better form of "Christianity" - the LDS church is the true ancient Christianity. Period.

My favorite part is at about 1:00 that it tells that mormons are told to be prepared by keeping food storage and shows just guns in the background when all that is listed is food!
