A few hours before I-70 was closed due to high winds and zero visibility, stranding thousands, we shot this afternoon footage of a westbound passage through the Eisenhower Memorial Tunnel, at well over 11,000 feet altitude.
The 8,700-foot passage took just over 10 minutes. What was the average speed of the traffic on that fateful day? :o/

My car was one of the first to drive through her in 1973. I had a yellow VW Bug which I drove from New York to Colorado to live.
I have since moved back to New York State.
