Crumpler Messenger Bags are totally awesome!..very strong..water resistant, easy to manuver w/ the bag wrapped around the body..easy to locate items inside..strap is easy to adjust & comfortable on the shoulders which ever side it's worn w/ the extra shoulder padded peice..the Velcro on the sleeve will keep the bag secured along w/ the clip..the large compartment has a zipper inside..i've had my Crumpler "Soupsalad" Messenger Bag..bout 5yrs. =0]

The western lawn has a shoulder strap, but it doesn't come with a padding. Its a great bag.

Yeah, it might look a little too big for an everyday bag. It's a pretty big bag. The Western Lawn is more suitable for a walk around bag. Crumpler has other models too, but for an everyday walk around bag, the Complete Seed is pretty big. I am 6 feet tall too.
