Adventures of Candy Claus

An animated special about a young girl who discovers that Santa Claus receives no gifts for Christmas and decides, along with her parents, to make him a gift--a rag doll. When Santa receives the doll, his touch brings it to life as Candy Claus--he and Mrs. Claus' daughter.

Well, technically I guess Elves and Reindeer aren't classified as humans, and therefore aren't really children. Plus, aren't all the elves male? I think they just live forever and don't reproduce. Haha.

I always wantted to see the end of this cartoon only to find out it had no ending.

So, this was my favorite movie as a child. We only had the first part, and i would always get sad because there was never a part two, never a ending to the tragic story.

My family called all over trying to find it but never could. And now I found out there was never a part 2 made because the company closed down.

All I can remember is being so sad that it ended so bad. =[

All I could remember caring about was her twin brother. His story was like a Dickensian tragedy. His "father" is never redeemed and Santa never goes to rescue him. When I was eight, that just pissed me off.
