This crossing is 3 crossings before Countri Lane Crossing. This features Safetran 12X24 Incandescant lights, one Safetran Gate mechanism and one WABCO/US&S model 75 gate mechanism. There are 2 General Signals E bells that ring until the gates go up. The train is a small and fast. It's over in almost 2 minutes. The CSX leading the run is number 7894. The OTHER locomotive is one I have never seen before. Its abreviation is LMS and its number is 7922. If anyone knows about this one locomotive, please tell me. Enjoy!

  • cool crossing bells :)

  • that would be 2 General Signals Type 2 Electronic Bells. One of the few GS Type 2equipped crossings in Pensacola/Cantonment that ring continuously until the gates go up. Others are 9 Mile (CSX AND AGR), and Wright St/Alcaniz St

  • LMS stands for locomotive mangament service by conrail. leasing company. all CW40-8W numbers 700-739 for LMS units

  • Ya know, come to think of it, the three Ex Conrails I always saw on the SL&A line in Maine, were LMS's. Though they still had their Conrail lettering showing on all three of them.

  • @Crossingman18

You know, I love trains too.

  • where i live, every crossing thats near me, the bells are always ringing when the crossing goes off. they dont shut up when ths gates are down, they keep ringing. but where i go on vacation, the crossing there, the bell shuts off when the gates are down. you could check it out :)

  • cool crossing =]

  • are you crazy?! You can't hear those General Signals Type 2 Electronic bells?!

  • Nice tracks.

  • LMS is Locomotive Leasing Service. I've seen those a few times. And what a nice catch on the CSX boxcar at 1:11 with a red door!

  • That bell contact is rare for CSX. That bell contact would be mostly used on BNSF crossings.
