where i live, every crossing thats near me, the bells are always ringing when the crossing goes off. they dont shut up when ths gates are down, they keep ringing. but where i go on vacation, the crossing there, the bell shuts off when the gates are down. you could check it out :)

LMS is Locomotive Leasing Service. I've seen those a few times. And what a nice catch on the CSX boxcar at 1:11 with a red door!

That bell contact is rare for CSX. That bell contact would be mostly used on BNSF crossings.

that would be 2 General Signals Type 2 Electronic Bells. One of the few GS Type 2equipped crossings in Pensacola/Cantonment that ring continuously until the gates go up. Others are 9 Mile (CSX AND AGR), and Wright St/Alcaniz St

LMS stands for locomotive mangament service by conrail. leasing company. all CW40-8W numbers 700-739 for LMS units

Ya know, come to think of it, the three Ex Conrails I always saw on the SL&A line in Maine, were LMS's. Though they still had their Conrail lettering showing on all three of them.
