@SuperAdventures I still liked what this was as well. If it was just Macross and perhaps a cable channel like Nickelodeon had offered to carry said program, I'd probably watch rather than the route they ended up going with Robotech.

I read somewhere that this opening theme (also done by Ulpio Minucci) was later repurposed as background music for "Robotech", without the campy lyrics and horrible sincger of course.
I'd like to see this pre-Robotech dub episode, could you post it up if you have it InheritedWill?

I'd read the same thing about the theme being reused later on, and it's true. It's the second track on the "Robotech Perfect Soundtrack Album", titled "Macross City". You can find it on Youtube by searching "ROBOTECH - PERFECT SOUNDTRACK - CITY MACROSS"
Yeah, I have the complete episode (it was one of the extras discs they had in a couple of the Robotech DVD releases) and I suppose I could re-rip it, split it and upload it for you.
