-- The Poker's Best Bits --
Such laydowns as the one of David Docherty at the final table of UKIPT Dublin 2011 are not often to be seen.

  • @arnaldo717 he didnt have to put him on a set to think he was beat. if the guy is a complete nit who only plays AK/big pairs, what hands is he calling a raise then leading a K high flop with that KQ beats? nothing.

  • i suspect david had a read on this guy as that he was tight and would not be betting there without a strong hand, if he thinks this guy is tight he probably wouldnt expect him to be value betting kj even which is really the only value betting hand he can beat and if the guy does have a tight range he doesn't even call barrys raise preflop with that hand, had to off put him on a set to fold so effortlessly in that spot

  • personaly i thought this was an amazing fold ! if it got checked round id expect the person to bet.

  • ur video sucks faggot, and to the guy saying k8 or kk, shut the fuck up. youre an idiot too

  • @shinfeels lol at KK being more likely than AA

  • after 3 checks a bet is strong, so a player with one pair would probably check behind. The old guy oozes confidence with that bet, casually drinks his lemonade, Docherty felt he didn't want to play out of position where the AA guy could bet 2/3 pot all 3 streets, better fold now than on the river.

  • @shinfeels

Win win situation for me. Either I'm in on your level or ur genuinely atrocious at the game

  • Good fold. He probably didn't suspect that O'Brien had AA, but the raise was strong enough to speculate that O'Brien had two pair (K8) or trips (KK).
