  • Dear children: This was created during a time when the primary medium for music videos was television and they could not get away with profanity in the videos. So they used what's a called a radio edit. If you don't know what a radio is, google it. And, by all means, quit you fucking whining.

  • Ben Folds Five (Not just Ben Folds) is back in the studio and they will have a new album out in the spring! I haven't been this excited since 1999!!! :)

  • @TheGoodSirHatter Believe me; it's autotune. Listen to the rough pitch changes.

  • @fetmabebis Sounds more like a mix to me. Autotune is usually used to significantly change the voice of the person. When they record, bands usually take a lot of shots at the same song and then thread together the parts that sound good. Mixing.

  • @TheGoodSirHatter Yeah? He's still using autotune here, isn't he?... Mong.

And he sounds really different live. His voice is more natural, and not as clean (I prefer that though).

  • Everyone just flinging out the word "autotune", let me level with you. The word autotune, in modern music practice, has taken on a negative connotation. It's interpreted as a significant warping of an artist's voice, and is associated with pop, hip hop, and rap music in general. There's some correction in this video, but it's not autotune. Another thing, they would "mix", and still do: They take multiple recordings and thread together the best tries using studio editing. Autotune? No, not likely

  • @fetmabebis Judge not lest ye be judged, asswipe. Listen to a live performance of him and you'll see there's nothing fake about Ben's skill.

  • vevo sux

  • @BiGpEcS777 Autotune?! Bull crap there might be some studio editing but no autotune

  • Love how people watch one video and then think they know everything about the band.

  • extremely great song with an extremely dorky video...I remember listening to this album when I was fourteen, when it came out. I was thinking a lot those days. I thought about the Army...
