Beautiful voice. Beautiful song. This is the first time I hear this in English. My native Language is Spanish. I used to hear this in Spanish in Church when I was a kid.

this is a catholic song and you should have not used it for buddha as it is sung for a living god not for a dead human

Excuse me, this song was written by St.Francis of Christianity as I remember but why does this video use his song for Bhuddhist?!? Isn't that something called "stealing"?!?

Beautiful way to transcend the best of cristianity. This is an universal value that will be adopted by most religions even after christianity is no longer a practised religion.

I'm guessing Francis of Assisi didn't quite have those sorts of images in mind when he wrote his prayer, way back in the 1200s. Please do read about him. His story is amazing!

Dang, some of y'all sure get rude for folks that consider yourselves Christians...
To clarify, since some folks are gettin all twisted about it, here's what I could dig up on our song here-
This hymn [c.1967] was written by Sebastian Temple (1928–1997), who was born and raised in South Africa where his early years were spent in the countryside. His mother died when he was 3 and his father turned him over to his grandparents to raise. He adopted the Franciscan lifestyle and became a Secular F

to me this song has no limitations of to whom the song (the meaning) "belongs"!!! The message is about love and peace, this is a very UNIVERSAL conception and speaks to all of us!! I think it is a sad thing that we would start to say "hey this is catholic so only catholics are allowed to use it"" I LOVE this prayer for it´s meaning and thus I have no problem that others use it too,for this is exactly the message of this song and prayer "love ,understanding and peace"

Yes, this is the "Prayer of Saint Francis", a very popular Catholic hymn. "Just Bernard"doesn't understand Catholics. If you want to know about Catholics beliefs and symbols, ask an informed Catholic.. Most Catholics know this much, including me; An upside down cross is the way St. Peter was put to death for his faith. He was the first Pope, selected by Jesus Himself. That line has continued down to the present Pope, Pope Benedict XVI, who is St. Peter's direct successor.

they are all peaceful spiritual belief systems. (Please research the real meaning of the pentagram. It is a Goddess symbol that was taking by the Catholic Church and made evil in their campaign to convert the Pagans.)The Pope made it evil yet he sits on a throne with and inverted cross(the original satanic symbol) and another under his window..Do research please brother..they're lying to you.(I only say that cuz you thought the pentagram was evil.) Namaste...
In Peace and Beauty,
Bernard

replace 0 with o in "com"
Scroll down to a little past half way, and you'll see meaning of the upside-down cross.
Beautiful video. God bless.
