    alright lets say you were there, about 300 of you against how many hundreds/thousands of zulus, something tells me you would be glad of the barricade or would you stand out in the open straight infront of the charging zulu's?

    This is off the top of my head, but the Zulus should've outgunned the British in numbers. The difference: most if not all of the Zulus guns were muskets, and their level of training was sub par compared to the British.
