A Shepherd and some sheep sing "Rama Lama Ding Dong" for the opening number in episode 417 of The Muppet Show.

The song was written by the lead singer for The Edsels, and was released as their first single under the erroneous title of "Lama Rama Ding Dong" in 1958. When it became popular three years later, in 1961, it was re-released under the proper title and became a top-30 hit.
