Snow Leopard Install Tutorial (Hackintosh)

Running Windows or Linux and you want to run Mac Os X? Heres how.

Things you'll need to get this up and running

Mac Os X Snow Leopard Retail DVD http://tinyurl.com/SnowDVD

Empire EFI Legacy http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6827159/Snow%20Leopard/LegacyEmpireEFI_V108.iso

Legacy Kernel for upgrading you mac software http://dl.dropbox.com/u/6827159/Snow%20Leopard/legacy_kernel-10.5.0.pkg

To get Kexts yourself www.kexts.com

Please note: Ive only installed this on my machine. I haven't tested any other hardware just yet. Just try to install it yourself on a separate HDD. More than likely if you have an Intel Cpu, you should at least be able to install it and get it running.

Empire was the best boot-loader for my motherboard, but if I want could I update to Lion using MyHack? I'm looking to use it.

hey, instead of another hard drive couldnt i just partition the hard drive i am currently using? nice tutorial by the way!

@TomaxSF you could if you want but its really unsafe to that. if that drive dies, you'd lose everything.
