oh the confusion! lou reed on the radio, this on youtube.
edie really was andie's star. she was more than one of his movie stars, she was the star who didn't have to be in movies; sort of like andy later on, when everyone knew he was famous but they weren't sure what he did.
And decades later ppl like me who never cared about movie stars get sentimental and soppy about edie, or andy, that's symbolism for ya, and andy succeeded in remaking his view of what fame is.
