http://www.highlandwire.org A rising plume of smoke, visible from the John C Lodge Fwy, signaled the location of Detroit city fire fighters and police on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Fire crews evacuated a home at the corner of Clements and Windemere standing adjacent to a burning shed. A single line was used to rain water down on both the shed and home.

The home was prevented from catching fire, and no one was injured.
