This first guy to speak before Hazen, is a total, and complete bore. I don't think I have ever seen anyone less interesting with less interesting and relevant things to talk about. My god.

I think what troubles Hazen most is his insistant protest that what is Natural including all the mechanisms of biomolecule generation through molecular selection including the ordering deterministic and random dynamics is distinct from what he refers to as a God whose image we may be created in. He hasn't dealt with that issue at all... all he has shown is creation is more than a "poof", you are a person.

Wonderful lecture ... other than the insistance on answering things that he cannot answer as a scientist. Ok, so if creationists or ID'rs suggest irreduceable complexity in systems as sign of a supernatural force this is flawed itself. Neither would Hazen suggest these complexities suddenly emerged but evolved by natural laws which a scientist seeks to understand. Engineers/scientists seek to use this information in some practical way - but still only establish the structure not the source

Dear future presenters around the world and across the land: ALWAYS repeat the question you are being asked for the local and possible external audience. ALWAYS!

i believe his name is ROBERT Hazen, not Richard Hazen as youtube talk title says. He is a geologist at the Carnegie Inst. in Washington DC. nice talk.
