  • Why do people keep making comments "Free Puerto Rico"? Is something going that the rest of the world knows about? I remember that Puerto Rico used to be a Spanish colony but now it is a free commonwealth associated with the U.S. I know that Puerto Rico has its own government and collects its own taxes -- so what is it that causes this sentiment "free Puerto Rico"?

  • Too many men and evenm women have fought and died in the armed services that are from Puerto Rico to defend the US, Puerto Ricans have served in the armed forces even before we were granted citizenship. You insult their sacrifice and their memories so all I have to say is SCREW YOU!

  • I also live in Rio Grande, but not up high in the forest. I can see the prison from my house too. Wich area of RG do you live? I have a Friend that lives like near the entrance of Portal El Yunque.

  • nice vid im in puerto rico on vaca. and im goin 2 the rainforest 2morrow

  • cagate entu mai

  • I have looked at hundres of videos on You TUbe from countries around the world and found the PRs are the only ones who carry on about how great their little island is. Man, there are 5 million of you, most of you are in the US. There are 6 billion people in the world and you PRs are less than one thousandth of one percent (.001%). You don't want independence because the US pays most of your bills.

  • I agree with you 100%. It would be my biggest ambition for PR to be independent but you got a point. Our politicians are number one reason it wouldn't work, not to add that the only reason we are producing is because US investors had brought their money and built the industry,it is not a direct contribution from our selves. We are just providing the labor. The biggest consumer is US,do you think we will be able to compete against cheap labor in Mexico,on top of that they can truck their goods.

  • for head lol PER HEADS... and we owe alot of money... it's all true who ever gets mad at what i said .. is that u trying to cover the truth and ur Proudness gets in the way of seeing the reality...Puerto Rico Is beautiful..YES is A BLESSING...not everything in Puerto Rico Is Reggeaton..lol

  • Bett u wrote :free Puerto rico. U want that?? i agree with PaNdinati... plus is Pr is free ... i dont want to live in it!! cuz we barely develope our own sources of food .. then the help for our grandparents SOCIAL SECURITY) or BECAS to study will leave too!! we can make food sources for every one but is gonna take like 40 years to work!!! have of PR depends to the Goverment living in PLAN 8 ... and having more kids so the goverment gives them 50 dollars for head.. i mean i Love the Island.

  • let puerto rico be a state

  • It is true that a lot of things have improve since the 50's but other things have stayed the same or have gotten worst. For example, P.R. is now considered the most developed Latin American "Country". But this is changing because P.R.'s economy is attached and depends on the U.S. economy which is proving to make P.R. less competitive today and acting as a mirror of what happens. We are limited to use the US Mercantile Marine (most expensive in the World) and the U.S. control our Foreign Affairs.
