The double standard example you gave about the "girls gone wild" is a good one. I never thought of it that way. You also see this in during Mardi Grass in New Orleans...All the Straight girls are flashing their breasts and straight guys are walking around without their shirts or half naked, yet that is seen as just people having fun and going wild.....but when gays do it then it's immoral and bad. You have changed my mind on the Gay Pride Parades. Thank you.

Naked bike ride in Seattle, it's a charity event in which people ride bikes nude through the city. Should that charity even be banned as well? It is far more offensive than anything I have seen in any gay pride parade, disturbing too .... really disturbing. But meh, it's for a good cause and it's their form of expression so I just don't watch it, but anyone who is against gay pride parades should be against a lot of charity events as well, unless they are hypocrites.

@clauditorium Even if gay people have the same rights, it won't make straight people and gay people the same. Just as when black people finaly got the same rights, white people didn't suddenly start producing more melanin in thier skin.

People can still be diverse even if they become part of the dominant culture.

How will having more rights compromise what makes a gay person gay?

That's why gay pride is about assimilation and pride.
