  • I appreciated this tutorial a lot! I have never heard of using Gamsol. I'm eager to try it out. It looks like it really helps get a better, softer, more smooth blend. Thank you for posting this!

  • It's not a colored pencil. It is a paper tortillian. You get them in the art section of any major craft store--or I've even found them at Walmart. Then you dip them in Gamsol (odorless mineral spirits) to use for smearing the pencil out.
