i don't know where to begin. in all honesty - i think i've never edited something so evil. vidding this movie (which is called "trade") was hard because it offers you so many subplots and tragic fates it's almost too much to handle. the amount of time i've spent trying to put everything together was endlessly. i didn't want to add too much clips because - in my opinion - it "distracts" from the emotional parts and makes them "less explicit". (i know how ridiculous this must sound; i hope you get my point).
the main focus in this vid is on adriana (the 13 year old mexican girl) and her close relationship with her brother - which i always underlined with her quotes to provoke a more personal atmosphere to make you more "aware" of all the crimes happening to her. speaking of awareness - this is my entry in smokeyfiizz's "are you aware contest"; if you want to create something as well be sure to participate!

i recommend EVERYONE to watch this movie - the major spoiler isn't in this vid (as well as the conclusion). it gets even more perverted towards the end.

& OH. veronica, the blonde woman so emotionally portrayed by alicja bachleda - she had to endure so much. all in all - talented cast and a gripping movie with a strong message.
wherever you are, whoever you are - male,female, young, old, rich, poor - it's happening. human trafficking + sexual abuse is everywhere and people need to be more aware of this.

I don't know if I should thank you or yell at you for this.

It took me a while but I finally decided to watch this movie. I knew I wouldn't be watching something pleasant, but every minute was more painful than the last. Half the time I wanted to cry and the other half I wanted to scream. What boggles my mind is how there is such evil in the world. I just don't understand how a human being can make themselves see another person as nothing more than a commodity to be sold and stolen. Thank you.

oh my god, I haven't cried like this in a really long time, I can't even see what I'm writing right now. I'm speechless. I haven't seen this movie & I don't think I can handle it anyways, because this is to brutal for me. I have seen movie likes this and its still keeps me up at night. To know that this is how the real world works... No, I can't handle it, I get to upset and sad.. Anyways, beautiful video, I can imagine that its was very difficult to do. <3
