Il Viaggio a Reims Songs and Anthems

This is the part of the opera when every guest sings his favorite national song. Trombonok sings german anthem composed by Haydn, next Liebenskopf sings a russian song as Melibea does, with a polish one. Later, Don Alvaro sings his spanish omaggio, with a Caballe castanuela accompaniment. Finally, the french duet, sing a song with a subversive hidden melody (marsellaise) and the hosts play another duets with tyrolese melodies.

apparently, though, the marseillaise quotation was put in there by Abbado, not Rossini -- bit of a strange choice, as it has the misleading effect of making listeners believe that Rossini quoted the revolutionary anthem in a work written for Charles X's coronation!
