This is a message to all first time protesters. There are many training videos that will help you understand what to expect on your first protest, but allow me to add some quick bullet points that will help make your first protest go smoothly and full of win.

First, never raid alone. This is for obvious reasons, but one thing that I have learned is that people feel more comfortable approaching you if you are not alone, be it a partner with you, or a passer by stopping to get some information.

Second, make sure all your fliers are in half, or quarter sheets. Not only will this save you money, but people will be less inclined to crumple up and throw away your flier if it can fit into their pocket.

When getting a passer-by's attention, keep your first message short, and easily followed up by more information pertaining to that first point. This will allow you to quickly move on to the next person should they decline your offer for information, and it will also leave you with somewhere to go should they want to hear more.

Next, If someone declines your offer for information, make sure you say "have a nice day", or something to that effect.

Always remember to stay off private property when protesting. Remember, private property includes the grass, as well as drive ways.

If you are near a busy street, and some one stops thier car and asks for one of your fliers, it is acceptable to walk into the street to hand them a flier, however, you should never cross a traffic lane.

It is quite difficult to drink while wearing a Guy Fawkes mask. However the process is simplified if you bring a straw with you.

Lastly, if you decide to enter a business for any reason, YOU MUST TAKE OFF YOUR MASK. Even if your protesting laws do not restrict you from wearing a mask, shops and stores are a different story. There is nothing more intimidating to a clerk, or security guard than a masked person walking into their store.

Keep these things in mind as you go out on your first protest. Remember, when you dawn the mask, you represent all of us.

But most importantly, remember this. You are not anonymous... We are anonymous. Your contributions are only a small part of a large whole. And those contributions are just as significant as everyone else's.

WE are anonymous.
We are legion.
We do not forgive.
We do not forget.
Expect us.
