@Lywnis Actually it's not bad if you download the unofficial patches. Bloodlines would have been officially better, if Troika games hadn't died soon after it's release due to the pressure by Activision.

To be fair, there is actually a precedent for vampires being able to survive in the sunlight. Bram Stoker's Dracula was able to do so (he just lost his powers during the day).

@Chrominance87 Well, the WoD vampires aren't *always* vulnerable to silver and crosses, but they are flaws that you can take when creating a new character. And yes, WoD vampires are vulnerable to sunlight (unless their generation is low enough, or they have ridiculously high stats.There's also the flaw "Light Sensitive" where even moonlight can deal damage to your character, and if the character is a Setite, ALL light can deal damage.

@Chrominance87  Yeah, that's what I thought. And I just remembered that that's what disappointed me about this show when it first aired: I thought it was a TV adaption of Kindred WOD but they got so much wrong :/

no World of Darkness vampires turn to ash in the sunlight, something pop culture today seems to ignore, WOD vampires are also not vulnerable to silver or crosses.

Someone remind me: in WOD can vampires walk around in daylight?! In all the campaigns I've played they burned in sun-light.

i like Anne Rice's Vampires but i think white wolf's vampires are more darker and deeper. sad to say Kindred only have 8 episodes.
