An old sketchbook consisting of drawings, doodles, fashion & textile design ideas, jewellery design. illustrations
Product of a fertile imagination. Some of these things, I made a spot of money from, as finished designs,-more of them made a lot of money for others. C'est la vie! Set to the soft sounds of Ladysmith Black Mambasa.

  • wonderful talent and presentation (I can barely draw stick figures but I know what I like) and what a fine flow with the music. genuine.

  • very nice !!!! thumbs up

  • They were wonderful colourists.and the Fauvists, who broke all the rules. You could get a heap of colour cards from a hardware shop, & chuck 'em around. &see what your instincts say. Colours can be very evocative of emotions, & hence atmosphere. Hope this helps & that I'm ot telling you stuff you don't already know! I KNOW you'll do well. Are you at school still or at Art College? x

  • Yes, course. Your dwawings fantastic because you've learnt to look in an unbiased way. Re colour.I'm sure you know there's a sort of science of colour. Have a look at a colour wheel. eg: primaries, their complimentary colours are a mix of the 2 other primaries. red is complementary to blue+yellow,(green). Using opposite colours makes things lively.Pastels create a gentler atmosphere. Sometimes it's good to put unexpected colours together. Experiment & break rules. Have a look at Gaugin & Matisse

  • I have been drawing forever and I really wan't to get better with things. I'm not much went it comes to being colorful. Luckliy I'm young and I could learn right?.

  • Almost anything. Gouache (mostly for finished designs - need flat colour), I'm taken with water colour pencils for illostration, as you can get both the texture of crayon and water colour. Felt-tipped pens, pen & ink ( great for drawing, as you can't rub out and have no choice but to get the line right, first go. Water colours. I enjoy a mix of media. I think your work is quite incredible for 17. You must have practiced a lot to have acquired such expertise so young!

  • Please identify yourself. And, reading text on light grey background is very difficult. N
