I had the same problem during the same mission. Although, I did not have it during this portion that was shown so possibly a different version. I'm nearing the end of the game and have seen it only once so I think it is not a huge deal.

This is a graphical glitch. make sure your video card drivers/directX are up to date. Also check your PC is not overheating.

I get that in one mission, the one where Garrus is on a sniper mission. I don't think it's just you.

Either Sheperd is on acid or you are having major video card issues.
