When did all these prissy steps get into jive? It's a serious question. The Jive (dance) was an anarchistic reaction to ballroom dancing and there were no specific steps just some basic moves which everyone then did their own variations on. This is equivalent to asking anarchists to march!

@unoriginal345 Well I'm sorry I'm not from America like them and I was not born speaking english. I'm terribly sorry for that, ya know? And that comment was when I first made my account, and now I speak english much better. And who so you think that speaks correctly on youtube, or more, internet?

@calou4031 , hello
Actually I'm talking about Jive which included into the sport dancing program and i think formally approved by IDSF. What I can see in this video is Jive basic figures, rock step and chasse to right , left , forward and backward. Jive music is 4/4 with stress (not sure how it must be written in english) on 2 and 4. So for chasse (3 steps) beats will be: 1 & 2 with timing 3/4 1/4 1/1

@kretsu you're wrong, sorry for my bad english(i'm french).
There is a difference between East Coast and jive. What you raise is the difference.
This is not East coast. In France, this is the basic for jive. (6 beats)
