With all those excuses of rebuilding... i think i can put it in a more accurate way: Kobe just isn't as good as his idiotic fans think. So having played 76 playoffs games makes them old in 4 yrs makes them old? Yeah ok buddy. If anything they should be more poised, calm, confident, and experienced.

@BasketballStud99 yea they did, that was their problem during their championship run, people doubted if they could go on a long run because of their age, they have played 76 playoff games in 4 year maybe the mavs are older but they had been getting beat in the first round pretty much every year except for this year so they were more fresh, and yes it was rebuilding, the lakers missed the playoffs one year and got beat in the first round the next two because they sucked since they were rebuilding

The Lakers suddenly became an "old and tired team" after winning the championship a year ago? lol i bet the average age of the Mavs is probably higher than the Lakers. Kobe fans call it "rebuilding" phase after Shaq left... but rebuilding occurs only when a team isn't doing well, so call it whatever you want lol.

@BasketballStud99 yea its the bid 3's first year together but they had a 2-1 lead in the finals this year so its not like they didnt have a chance, and of course kobe couldnt make it past the first round after shaq left because the lakers were rebuilding and they werent that good, even under the coaching of phil jackson the lakers were an old and tired team while the mavs were just a straight up better team, but the lakers already had their success either way.....and money is just money

@BasketballStud99 well maybe he couldnt 3peat without shaq, but lebron couldnt win one championship with d-wade and bosh, or just like the celtics big three could only win one championship despite having three hall of famers, or jerry west only winning one championship with wilt chamberlain on his team........its hard to win multiple championships in a row, and of course there has to be good players surrounding him thats how teams win championships, with good players
