Fallout 3 Infinite Caps and Items Shop Glitch on Xbox360

It works best if you bring nothing with you, Go to a shop keeper and find a weapon or armor that they have two of, You do not sell them the items, They must have the pair of items themselves. Buy the cheaper of the two same items, then sell it back, buy it again, then sell it back, buy it, then sell it, just keep repeating, That's all there is to it lol, It works every time. Read the comments from the 144 people that have posted comments saying that it works great, You must be doing something wrong if it's not working for you, So keep trying tell you get it.

This glitch will allow you to get an item repaired to 100% for free and it will also allow you to make free caps and ammo as long as you have no items and the shop keeper has two of the same item (same condition is not required).

1. Go to a shop keeper and trade with them

2. Make sure the shopkeeper has two of the same item (weapon, armor, helmets, clothing).

3. Buy the cheaper of the 2 same items (nothing happens the first few time)

4. Sell the same item back to shopkeeper and then buy it back again

5. When you buy the item back you will notice that for you, it is fully repaired. (If it is only partially repaired, repeat step 4 until it is fully repaired).

You can now sell the fully repaired item back for a price that is higher than the price you bought it for. It will remain the same condition and price as when you first bought it in the shop keeper's inventory, but will be fully repaired and worth more when it is in your inventory. The reason the repair is free is because you can repeatedly buy and sell the item for a profit, negating the initial loss of caps that you encounter when you first buy it back.

Say laser pistol "A" is 24 caps but laser pistol "B" is 300 caps. You are now making a profit of 276 caps every time you sell it. Even so you are buying the laser pistol for the price of 24 caps you are selling it for 300 caps and making money. To take this one step further, You now take the caps you just got from the shop keeper and use them to buy any items you might want like health items and ammo. Now keep buying and selling the laser pistol back and forth like before tell you get all your caps back.

When the shop keeper runs out of caps, ammo or any other item you might want, Just hit the back button and wait 4 days (Right there in the Shop) and the shop keeper will now get all there items and caps back again. Repeat all the above steps all over again as many times as you like or need. In one hour time I made 50000 caps and had 5000 rounds of each ammo type. And that is how you get a unlimited amount of Caps and Ammo.

i cannot see how unlimited caps is possible when you start with 200 caps .. moira with 258. there are only 458 caps there, so how do you inted to make loads of money using this "glitch" when you can only make what moira has.. oh and how the hell do you magically turn that 458 into over 500 caps..... can she pull caps out of her arse?

Btw if you need your gear repaired have the shop keeper doit and then use the glitch to get your money back

This actually does still work as of 10/11/2011. Sometimes she has two expensive combat armors and one cheap one. You buy the expensive one and drop it then you talk to her again and just buy the combat armor and it'll look like combat armor (2) but you'll buy the cheaper of the two. You then just buy it and you'll be able to sell it back for 190 caps after buying it for 123. Make sure to not have anything on your person but bottle caps. Put everything in a locker and it'll work 100% as shown.
