  • and alaska airlines rants and raves about its customer service, i dont understand how they can when they dont even want to start with their own employees?? and then on the application they ask you where u would like to be stationed, but when u get to the interview they say forget what u picked your going to anchorage and thats that! well, why ask at all then? bait and switch kind of interviews suck! being upfront is the proper way, epecially with reqruiting new employees.

  • thats why when you READ your job description it states "must be willing to re-locate to any base"....maybe you missed that part?

  • I just noticed, thats a Hawaiian Airlines DC3 dude.

  • well...it was pulled from the Aloha airlines website's history page....can hardly tell anyways....it's just a nice pic.

  • Thanks for this really nice video..although I never flew with them myself (or maybe I did, I can't remember which small airlines we flew with years ago in the 70's between HNL-Kauai) anyway, I remember lots of airlines that went belly up like Eastern and Western, in fact, we flew from ANC-HNL on Western Airlines "champagne service" I remember looking at all the people drinking (I was underage) and being amazed at how happy everyone was! ;) ALOHA!

  • you cant just go back into service, it takes a lot more money to maintain a passenger jet than a cargo jet.

and a cargo jet is more profitable if you use large aircrafts.

  • they should do passenger serice again instead that the cargo service they do now

  • Sun Country now has N751AL in the Aloha livery. They did remove Aloha though. Still has the birds of paradise. I assume that Sun Country is leasing this plane from the lessor.

  • I think alaska airlines came down and rescued a good bunch of them. i wish them luck with that airlines, too. 7 weeks no paid training! ya, right! and they dont even pay for your flight to and from the training! its like, if a company really cares about their future employees you would think they would pay them something for the 7 weeks of training and airfare to and from!!? all of the top airlines pay for transportation and usually pay the trainees something, and provide a place to stay.

  • And you wonder why we shouldn't have offshore oil drilling? Well, these airlines are going bankrupt because of the cost of fuel.

The people who worked for Aloha Airlines were so nice.

I LOVE YOU ALOHA AND ATA AIRLINES! :(
