Old XBox Controller to Kickass USB Gamepad

This is NOT my build originally, but it's so cool I had to share it. I spent $12 and about 10 minutes splicing 4 wires to make the best PC gaming accessory I've ever owned. It's cheaper than buying one of those $20 adaptors and still cheaper than buying a $30 gamepad with the same functions.
Try it, try it, try it! I use it for all my emulators, especially PJ64.

But it could have been even better...

Pop open the controller plug the plastic shell comes apart in two pieces take a male USB that leads to bare wires and solder the matching color wires onto the same solder points as the wires for the normal controller.

Then just put a notch in one half of the plastic clam shell that goes on the controller plug and your done.

For extra insurance against pulling and leads jumping I put some hot glue over the newly solder wires.

I Have an Xbox to Pc/Usb and itis the best thing i have ever installed on my pc EVAH!

I cant play a game without it!

Mirrors edge works with it too even though itthinks its a 360 plugin :P

haha its not out yet but its the beta version. i downloaded it via a torrent. :) mininova or the piratebay :P can't remember where i got it from.
