A buddy with a 47' Commander took this 2009 video of our 1967 Chris Craft Constellation 52 when we were en route to Three Sisters in Washington DC. The Connie is 6-71N Detroit Diesel-powered and we were traveling at roughly 9kts. I wasn't aware they were taking a video and was playing with the trim tabs at the time. The boat was only in primer at the time, so please ignore the flat paint and inconsistent color. You may notice that the boat's running pretty flat, not riding up on the bow wave at all. Well, that's what she does at 1700rpm with the trim tabs fully deployed--not the most efficient position, but I wanted to know how she runs at all levels of tab deployment.
