Hamster Plus Nanowires Equals Power

Researchers at Georgia Tech have attached a single nanowire to the back of a cute little hamster, and used it to generate energy while running on a wheel.

Nicely done! Too bad it only generates about 0,1 nanowatts... But the scientist wanted to show we might just use our own bodymovement one day to power devices we carry with us.
