Ok, I love the books, and I also like the movie, I have nothing against it, but in the books, since Darren is only a half- vampire, he didnt have the "super spit", and he also couldnt 'flit' (run very fast)... I just kinda wish they wouldve kept it more original. Although, the 'flit' ability made for a good fight scene between him and his former friend.

Okay... Where is the normal rules of it? They did good casting but one problem darren was younger in the books and manga right or am I wrong? Later on he would probably look like that from the purge but still. -_- They should've stuck with the book in parts where it's obvious.

I saw the film first,& then tried to read the books since the film ends w/ so many open question's. I wish I'd looked to see what age group the books were intended for. I can see where ppl who've read the books might not like the film, but I'm just as disappointed to find that the writing style wasn't to my taste. Which is fine, just frustrating since I was looking forward to having a new series to read.

I'm not saying the books suck, just that the writing style wasn't for me. YMMV

omg!!!! DX some of this stuff doesnt even happen in the books ;///////; but it looks like a funny movie id recomend to read the books first then the manga THEEEEN watch the movie all 3 are like......SOOOOOOOooooOOOoooOO­Oooooo~ different!!!! D: but its still a fun series =w=
