  • Yes and no. The NO: No manufacturer is going to extend their product liability beyond their stated shelf life, storage conditions, and intended product use. They would be insane to open themselves up to lawsuits by saying you (the customer) could repackage their product once opened using an unknown device and methods of your own choosing. That being said - The YES: what I do with my unused (non-rehydrated) product is use a Food Saver to vacuum pack it, then I put it in the freezer.

  • comparing the food your selling to dog food? lol

  • @spuzmanX Oh man, we weren't trying to compare, but we wanted to see what the pup thought since she is part of the family and is picky eater. My hope was she would want one and not the other, but she went for both. Was that good or bad? Her Favorite dog food that was the other choice is Lamb and Sweat Potato. Having that as one of my choices, I'm not sure which one I would have chosen either! Also see comment below.

  • Glad you got a kick out of that! Please also see the comment above to spuzmanX .

The puppy of ours loves people food, but not everything. So that is why we thought it would be fun to get her reaction also. What she really likes other than anything meat (like a usual dog), includes: dill pickles, granny smith green apples, blueberries, celery, carrots, bok choy, and green peppers among others. She doesn't like lettuce. Take her reaction at face value. It was fun though right?

  • Notice they all say "pretty good" while putting just the tip of their spoon into it? LOL!

  • Love your schnauzer! I love mine more!

  • looks like a million little crutons!

  • If we don't use the whole #10 can of food right after we open it can we put the rest in a mylar bag with an oxygen absorber in it to bring the extended life of the product up to the 20 years shelf life again?

  • That was me placing an order at 2:23 LOL

  • I have had the beef stew before, absolutely delicious. Certainly better than dog food, lol.
