If the accents were done by one person, that would mean watering down the difficulty and unity of the cadence. Melodic Thump is the intro to a FAMU song "Coming to America". In the original FAMU version, evey snare plays the accent. It should be noted that this is not the entire part. After the last 8 beats, there's a quad solo, a tonal bass solo, then a whole 'nother section with chreography. Just search "coming to america" on YouTube to see the actual thing in its entirety.

This was taken after practice one day, after we took our group photos. Alot of people went home. All of a sudden, they decided to get someone with a camera phone to record them. I went ahead and got a digital camera instead. Because they liked the video so much, we decided to put it on YouTube.
